Capacity Building Coordinator, Bodossaki Foundation
Jennifer Clarke (Ph.D) is Capacity Building Coordinator at the Bodossaki Foundation, where she plays an active role in the Foundation’s initiatives to strengthen Greek civil society, including Social Dynamo, which offers training, professional support, networking opportunities and a co-working/ event space to NGOs and citizens groups.
Jennifer has almost 20 years’ experience in the field of civil society capacity building, both in Greece and internationally, including on behalf of the European Commission in Brussels. She has been involved in training and supporting over 350 Greek NGOs to date. She also worked previously for Transparency International Hellas.
Jennifer’s academic background is in sociology, and she holds a PhD from the University of Kent, an MA from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a BA from the University of Cambridge. She has published a number of academic articles and co-edited the book ‘Austerity and the Third Sector in Greece’ (Routledge 2015).
