Journalist - Presenter​, MSc In Political Communication (L.S.E.)

Dimitris was born on February 9th, 1980 in Athens. He is a Communication and Media distinction graduate from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2001 he studied Political Theory in the London School of Economics and Political Science (L.S.E.) as a postgraduate MSc student.

In 2002 he graduated L.S.E. postgraduate program with honors. After completing his military service in 2003, he worked in the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Organizing Committee (ATHOC 2004) as a senior executive in the International Relations Department. Dimitris was responsible for the “Observers’ Program”. Between 2005 and 2007 Dimitris worked in the private sector (B.B.D.O. Group of Companies and MAD Group of Companies) as a Public and Media relations executive. In 2007 he also works in Mad as a radio producer, hosting the most successful morning show “Mappers Show”, which keeps on being already 10 years old. In 2008 starts hosting shows in Mad TV as well.

The last 9 years Dimitris has worked in Greece’s biggest broadcasting TV channels (Mega Channel and ANT1 TV) as a TV host and journalist hosting all kinds of shows (talk shows, morning shows and game shows). Some of his career’s highlights would be the most successful “Ougachallenge” alternative talk show and having interviewed great international stars like Matt Damon, Willem Dafoe, Shakira and Alicia Keys.

He currently hosts the radio show “Mappes Show” in Rythmos 94.9 radio station and is the co-host of the “Late Night Show” in ANT1 TV along with the famous Greek TV-host Giorgos Liagas. Dimitris speaks fluently English, French and Italian.
